clinFHIR and 2.1

A quick note for those who will be using clinFHIR at the upcoming WGM – I’ve updated it so that it can read the proposed 2.1 resources. The way it works is that you select the server in the usual way – i.e. clicking the ‘servers’ link at the top right of the screen, and there are now both 2.0 and 2.1 versions of the servers to select from.

The default server remains the 2.0 version of Grahames server, and if you do want to have a look at the 2.1 resources, then select a 2.1 server as the Conformance server. You should also select a 2.1 data server if you intend to save the resource, otherwise it will likely be rejected.

A couple of things I noted during testing:

The safest is to have all servers on the same version.

Here’s a screenshot (and, no I haven’t tested this configuration – it’s quite adventurous!)

Oh – if you’re developing a FHIR server and intend to have a test deployment on the web then let me know the url and which server roles it is intended to support and I’ll add it to the defined list. There are a couple of requirements:

And lastly – there is still time to go to the connectathon. This time around we have tons of room which is great as we have 117 attendees at the last count! (sadly, not me…)
