More FHIR videos

Rene Spronk has created a number of video’s that feature FHIR – in fact we looked at one just recently where the FHIR chiefs signed a poster of themselves in Chicago (with the proceeds to go to a good cause – I live in hope…)

I had occasion to go back and have a look at some of them, and there are a couple of recent ones worth mentioning – one serious, and one not so much…

First the non serious one: – a FHIR cocktail – how cool is that! (‘cool’? Let’s not go there…)

Then the serious one – Lloyd talking about mapping between FHIR & CCDA. There’s a lot of activity in this space, and it’s really important if FHIR is to realize its potential. The video is worth viewing (though Lloyds voice is rather quiet), but the takeaway is the we plan for the mappings and the ‘QA’ aspect of the work to be complete for DSTU-2 (mid next year), and the profiles themselves balloted as a separate exercise later in the year.

Exciting stuff…

One Response to More FHIR videos

  1. Rene Spronk says:

    Thanks David,

The full series of FHIR-related videos can be found here: https://vimeo.com/channels/hl7fhir (45 videos, including those by Furore created during the FHIR developer Days).

Next year’s FHIR devDays will be held on November 18-20, 2015, in Amsterdam – save the date should you have a desire to join the FHIR Community during that meeting.
